Living room: what these mockups are for
The living room is where most prints end up, and where most buyers are trying to imagine one. A sofa, a console or a fireplace gives them a scale reference they already own, which is why a living room shot is usually the first listing photo rather than the third. It is also the largest set on this site, so you can match the wall colour and the furniture style to the buyer you are actually selling to.

Making it look photographed, not pasted on
Size the piece against the sofa: a three-seater runs about two metres, and a print wider than two thirds of it starts to look oversized. Hung above one, the bottom edge normally sits a hand-width above the backrest, and that gap is most of what separates a room photo from a paste-up.
